Essential component of the DCIG work is the strategic litigation before EU and International Human Rights Bodies aiming to bring a greater change at  a structural level for a bigger group of children in need. Simultaneously, DCIG based on the evidence gathered via the individual support of vulnerable children, advocates for improving existing law, introducing new legislation, amending policy practices, raising awareness within the society, and bringing social change for due child protection. In this regard, DCIG becomes the ‘spokesperson’ of the rights of children.

DCIG has participated in many conferences, childrens' rights forums, round tables, working groups and conducts advocacy meetings with national, European and international authorities.
